Ingrida I. Ozols is a lifelong central Indiana resident. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School and Butler University with honors. She graduated with high academic standing from Indiana University School of Medicine where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and active in the student council.
She interned at Methodist Hospital and completed her dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at Indiana University Medical Center. She is board-certified in both dermatology and dermatopathology and a fellow in both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatopathology.
Presently, she is a volunteer academic faculty member in the Dermatology Department at Indiana University Medical Center, and in June 2018, won the volunteer faculty of the year award. She also teaches residents from St. Francis Hospital. She has been selected by her peers as one of Indianapolis Monthly's Top Docs and recognized by Castle Connolly as one of the Top Physicians in America in 2019.
Some of her interests include running, traveling, and cheering on the local professional sports teams.
